Description: The 5 Little Quail Homestead is a family-run operation built around a passion for quality, sustainability, and strong genetics. Named after our five children, our homestead is more than just a business—it’s a lifestyle centered on hard work, learning, and raising animals the right way.
We specialize in Coturnix quail, offering a diverse selection of both live birds and fertile hatching eggs. Our lines include highly sought-after varieties such as Celadon (blue egg layers), Jumbo Browns, Italians, Gingers, Pansy, Andalusian, and other specialty and project lines we are continually developing and improving. We focus heavily on selective breeding to produce birds with excellent size, productivity, color quality, and hatch rates.
As an NPIP-certified farm (#91-354), we are committed to maintaining high health standards and biosecurity practices, giving our customers confidence whether they are purchasing locally or through shipped orders. Each egg is carefully handled, packaged, and shipped with attention to detail to ensure the best possible experience.
Our mission is to provide dependable, high-quality birds and eggs while helping others start or grow their own homestead—whether on a large property or a small backyard setup. Quail are an incredibly efficient and rewarding species, and we love sharing that with our community.
We proudly serve both local customers and nationwide shipping clients, and we are always happy to answer questions and support others in their quail journey.
