Description: Manna & Quail Homestead began in October 2025, but the dream started many years before that. We had always wanted to raise chickens for meat and eggs, but without enough land, it simply wasn’t an option.
In September 2025, we began researching quail and quickly realized these little birds might be exactly what we were looking for. We ordered our first hatching eggs and an incubator, and it didn’t take long for us to fall in love with raising them.
Originally, our plan was simple: keep a small flock that could provide a steady supply of fresh eggs for our household. But we enjoyed raising quail far more than we ever expected—and we loved the eggs. We began sharing them with people from our church, and before long, we were getting weekly requests for more.
What started as a small backyard flock has since grown tremendously. We have received our NPIP certification and obtained the licensing necessary to sell our eggs publicly in both Ohio and West Virginia.
At Manna & Quail Homestead, producing high-quality eggs is important to us. We feed our birds a non-medicated, non-GMO, all-natural feed produced right here in Ohio, and we take pride in the care that goes into our flock and every egg we offer.
